Everything from start to finish of the trip. That includes collection from, and return to your hotel or residence.  Your meal and drinks. (with the exception of alcoholic drinks for which we would ask you to pay). The bike, the helmet, all transportation costs and entrance fees or excursions to anywhere included in the itineraries.

Are there any extra charges?
No!!

What will the weather be like?

As you will be aware, Thailand is generally hot all year around. However most of the cycling on our trips is done on the morning, so it is pretty comfortable. You also get a natural breeze cooling you down. We also stop for regular drink and fruit breaks, and do not 'zoom off' and leave people behind. Rain in Thailand can be very heavy at times. If it is raining the morning of your ride, we will ring you (if I have a number). If not, please ring us to discuss.

Will the ride be difficult?

We have put together a range of rides to suit every kind of cyclist: from off-road mountain biking for the enthusiast, to easy sight seeing for the casual rider. Please refer to the grade guide for further explanation.

What kind of people will be on the trip?
Hopefully, nice people!! We want our tripes to be sociable events. They are not frequented by bike mad people, but outgoing, open-minded active people who want to get as much out of their holidays as possible, and not just 'sit on a beach'.

Is it all looking at scenery?
Yes and No!!  Your guide will explain a little of the history of the sites you visit along the route. However, it is NOT a history lecture, it is a cycling trip, so we won't 'bore the pants' off you'! We recommend that if you want to learn about the history of the area in depth that you employ a T.A.T. official guide to accompany you on a different type of trip.

What if there is an accident, and am I insured?
We will have a support vehicle right with us throughout the trips. It is never more than 10 minutes away, and we carry a first aid kit. However, cycling is an active sport and accidents can happen, therefore we suggest you arrange your own insurance, and you will be asked to sign a Release of Liability form at the commencement of the ride.

What are the bikes like?
We use TREK 6000 bicycles,Shimano Deore 27 speed gears, Rockshox front forks and Avid Juicy 3 Hydraulic disk brakes. All of the bikes are brand new this year, and are checked daily and serviced on a regular basis by Hua Hin 'Bike' shop.

What about non-riding partners?

They can travel in the support vehicle if they so wish**.
They too can enjoy the stunning locations we visit. The charge for this is 500 baht to cover the food and drink. ** This is contigent on there being space in the support vehicle.  Riding customers have priority and until the day of the ride we will not know if there is a spare place.  Please check with your guide upon your collection.

Is there an age limit for the trips?
In short yes, twelve-years-old, but we can be flexible if the children are mature and will not spoil the group dynamics.  However, we do not have a bike to fit small children.

Bike rental
We do not do bike rental as it is cost prohibitive.
